Which had me laughing pretty hard too. I have MANY memories of you in my classroom because you were a saint and spent almost as much time in that room as I did. One time I took her to a petting zoo while you were packing stuff up and the animal owners thought she was my daughter!!! That was crazy!
I remember when I first met you, or pounced on you, to tell you I could babysit whenever you wanted. I've really been thinking about that as I see the young women in our ward doing the same thing and I think, wow I was probably a little too much for you. But I loved that you let me play with your kids.
Oh, when I think of you I think of your good cooking(chocolate turtles), preparing for the annual Christmas parties, and all our good talks as you drove me home. You guys have really been great friends! Thanks for adding to my college fund too :)pawlyandsandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06089628375425389337noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-53290900159969779872008-08-07T18:36:00.000-06:002008-08-07T18:36:00.000-06:00I'll be playing this game next week---but I'll lea...I'll be playing this game next week---but I'll leave my memory here today :)!

I think you first commented on my "I'm getting a divorce" post. You had mentioned knowing how it felt--like having a big scarlet D on yourself! BOY!--Did I ever relate! I was excited to "know" someone who could pass on a little knowledge and experience. And then to find out you've lived in Idaho and we're of a shared faith---can't beat that :)!

Plus--in you I got a bonus bloggy friend Aubrey!Jennifer P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03907178224086726030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-12642955534769553232008-08-07T15:20:00.000-06:002008-08-07T15:20:00.000-06:00I got the blog layout from leeloublogs.blogspot.co...I got the blog layout from leeloublogs.blogspot.com. She has a lot of cute ones. The only cat still around when I entered the Shiner lair was nasty Patches that Jon should have taken with HIM since he was the one picking up free-peeing strays. I'm so surprised he doesn't have a cat-hoarding problem, along with his train, electrical "thing" and garbage collection.

My first memory of you is boring--when you were at the in-law's ward on a visit SOUTH. I do remember you getting into a snowball kaufuffle with Rob and you getting after him for ripping a hole in your sweater.Aubreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07287705196381038216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-19878330101102757742008-08-07T14:11:00.000-06:002008-08-07T14:11:00.000-06:00Kate- Alright how much is it gonna cost me to make...Kate- Alright how much is it gonna cost me to make sure that picture never makes it on your site???? So which one to pick? Hummm... Well, the annual before Christmas get together with the families are always fun. The year I came back for a visit while living back East was a fun Christmas get together. I have a great photo of you and I that always makes me smile whenever I see it. Mainly because it's not very flattering of either of us and because it's one of those dorky "hold the camera at arm's length and smile while trying to appear as though you don't have five chins and failing" kind of pictures. All and all, I'm glad to know you. You are funny and a GREAT story teller- as the blog has already proven time and again! (But I must say, is so much better in person.)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10911002216094048582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-7255471634437183782008-08-06T14:24:00.000-06:002008-08-06T14:24:00.000-06:00WOW- I am loving this.E- I love that you hit on th...WOW- I am loving this.
E- I love that you hit on the snake day cause up till then the blog had been pretty boring. I love coming and visiting your site and seeing the fun things that you do. I too feel a connection because you are real, no pretence, this is who you are and I love that. I am honored to call you a blog-sister.

N- I had totally forgotten about that present, what a smart alleck I can be. I guess it was on omen that little girl was on her way. I still remember bawling all the way back to Utah and wanting to turn around and live with you. For some place that I hated to move to I had the hardest time leaving and I still look to the East and think of home alot.

A- I think that you are one of those that are born to be a teacher. You have an amazing personality and you are able to make the kids love you and want to do good cause you are their teacher (kinda like who you are replacing). I KNOW that you are going to do an awsome job and I so look forward to stopping in and seeing how things are going."The Queen in Residence"https://www.blogger.com/profile/03769111024855197232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-16710152804976630912008-08-06T11:24:00.000-06:002008-08-06T11:24:00.000-06:00Of course I have many memories of you from your cu...Of course I have many memories of you from your cute little boy's kindergarten class- you were an awesome volunteer! But the memory I have that is most vivid is a conversation we had out in the commons one day. I shared my exciting news of getting to stay and teach 4th next year, and also my extreme nervousness and feelings of anxiety of being a 22 year old, first year teacher and how parents would react. You made me feel so comfortable and confident! I hope that all of my parents this year are as accepting, kind, helpful, and inspiring as you are!Saunders Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00012259875238027012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-58819427909905626062008-08-06T09:48:00.000-06:002008-08-06T09:48:00.000-06:00Okay, I have so many memories with you in them. I...Okay, I have so many memories with you in them. I will put a funny one and a sad one. First the sad one. When you left Boise and you stopped over at my house to say goodbye. You said that you couldn't leave and would your man notice if you didn't come to the new house. It was so hard to say goodbye, but I had to peel you off and say that although I love you, you have to go and be with your family. That was so hard.

Now onto a funny memory. It was Christmas and we were at your house for the annual friends dinner. You were giving out your gag gifts and you said that this Christmas you were going to give me something that my husband couldn't seem to. When I opened it, it was a girl baby (doll). I laughed so hard and eventually got a real baby girl (from my husband no less). The real gift from you though has been your friendship which I treasure every day! Love ya!Busy Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09166704155663407619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1333622695610571871.post-60982788517549853232008-08-06T09:43:00.000-06:002008-08-06T09:43:00.000-06:00My first memory of you....well, I saw you post on ...My first memory of you....well, I saw you post on Jennifer P.'s blogs and I always like your comments. So then I lurked you and my first post I read was about the snake and lawn mowing. It just cracked me up. It's funny to me who I click with in the blog world, but I have grown to love you as a dear friend. So even though I don't have a clue who you are in real life, you, Queenie, are considered a friend to me. (That wasn't really a memory much, but oh well.)Elenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04073513719640179145noreply@blogger.com
