My 150th Post Give-Away

It's a Give-Away!!!!
I cannot believe that it has been 150 posts since I started this whole blogging thing. I look back and boy did I not have any idea what I was doing, but you have all been so kind to let me know how to upload things, where to find the HTML screen and been so kind on your comments when I know that I have spelled things terribly wrong. In the end you shared the ups and downs of my life with me and I want to give a little love back. So leave me a comment on this post on what you have enjoyed most about my blog, comments that I might have made on yours or anything that you want to share that you have enjoyed while visiting this house of chaos. I will leave this post up for 5 days and on Friday we will have a drawing for something really nice and random that you will win.
So comment away, comment often and may the best commentor win.....
Who doesn't love a little gift and early too!
♥♥♥A special thanks to Debbie at Blog Around the World for the shout out!♥♥♥

Ooo, ooo, I'm first! That ought to count for something! Happy 150th day! My favorite post of all time has to be the one with your tired picture and then the one of the frazzled cartoon cat. SO funny!

I haven't been reading your blog all that long. but I love it just the same. I love to hear all the stories about the kids and learning more about you is awesome.

Wow, 150 posts! Way to go!

I am loving the new background...nice colors.

I loved your haircut posts. You had me laughing right out of my chair with your stories.

And of course I love the pics of your kiddos. And your recipes. And your tags.

You know what? I just love you!

I am liking this new background Queenie!

I love your blog for so many reasons! I feel you and I are kindred spirits - we just get each other...and sometimes include each other in our dreams! (ha ha!)

I think my favorite post was the one where you stayed up all night and then took a picture of yourself and compared it to that cartoon cat. That had me in hysterics. Oh my gosh. I think that one deserves a repost.

Looking forward to this week.

(in the voice of Ahhhhnold- I'll be back...)

I have always loved how real you were. I think I'm most attracted to bloggers whose lives or attitudes are most similar to mine--and you qualify for sure! Plus, that you are my emailing buddy from time to time too makes reading about your life all the more special!

I love the ones with your hair and snakey... I just love you! Congratulations!

here is why i LOVE your blog...

1) it's REAL. you don't try to hide the fact that you, your kids or hubby are REAL people. You are not the Perfects.

2) It's FUN! you have a way of putting things that really makes me laugh!

3) It's a Look-On-The-Bright-Side. You are so encouraging. No Negative Nellies here! When I see the things you have accomplished, I feel inspired.

Because I know what the prizes are, I am posting this comment and hope you don't discriminate against family. I won't say much about your blog because I am very biased and think you are the best!

So, who is this anonymous person anyway, hmmm?

Oh, I so want to win. Really, really, I do.

Does it include a trip to Utah to meet you in person? And maybe do some scrapbooking on the side? And eat some yummy food?

I prefer to fly first class. You know, just in case I win.

:)

Just throwing another comment in here to up my chances. :) After reading these other comments, I have to agree, the Cruella DeVille post was pretty hysterical too.

I am loving that when I run out of things to post about I can just repost the favorites. Cruella will be coming up along with the Sugar overdose and my all night escapades.♥

Congrats on 150.

My favorite thing about you blog is YOU!!!!.

I like that I feel like I am visiting a friend.

I Like that you also come by my "house" to visit often.

Okay it sounds way cheesy but true.

Happy 150!!! I have to say I loved the haircut drama (not that YOU loved it, but a story well told!) and I liked discovering that other peoples children do things like slide down stairs on mattresses when you think they are being quiet and good!!

Here is to 150 more great posts! I look forward to reading them!

Hi,
You're blog is great and I loved the one's where you told us the adventures of your house/life. You're so real! You don't find a lot of that!

I have loved seeing pictures of a cute little girl that I miss seeing every weekday for 8 hours.... and hearing funny stories from a great lady that I miss spending my Wednesdays at school with. I still feel a little like a teacher when I stay connected with your family... and I miss that. So thanks!!

Heather said...

Hi, I got your blog off of Emily and I really want some chocolate so I am commenting. I hope I win.

I just found your blog today, and I'm reading (and loving) some of your older posts.

I'm back for more fun in the Shiner's house. Just had to see who my competition is. I'm totally game for the trip to Utah to hang out with you. I definitely need to do some scrapbooking...and maybe some skiing. I haven't told you I've been to Park City (in the 11th grade I went with two friends and their family and skied for 5 days straight - it was awesome).

Elena said...

Oh, oh, I just remembered another favorite post. The story of your daughter's brother's death. HYSTERICAL!!! (I hope your other readers know what I'm talking about because is sure sounds bad the way I just put it.)

I just came upon you today but 150 posts!! You go girl. I'm up to 27!!!!!!! I actually enjoyed reading about your weekend away, just you and your buddies seeing Twilight and having all that girl fun.... hmmmm.... so jealous!!

Caroline said...

Okay, you know that since I dreamt about you, that should for sure put me in the running for the winning prize.

Fo shizzle dizzle yo.

Heather said...

Hey Caroline, stop hogging all the comments and give a girl a chance.

I never win nuttin'.

Maybe we can both win the trip to Utah. You can ski while I bake, then we'll all scrapbook together.

How's about it?

"The Queen in Residence" said...

Hey I think that we would have a great time doing all of that and maybe Caroline can provide us with some cool background music. But I have to confess something that may alter our friendship,......I do not scrapbook. There I said it! I despise it! So you guys come out and we will ski, Heather and I will bake, then Caroline and Heather can scrapbook while I make cards. Sounds like a deal, right? Now we just need to figure out who has a private jet that we can borrow to make all our wishes come true. Bill Gates, does anyone know him personally and could call in a favor?♥

Caroline said...

I think maybe AIG or Wachovia probably has a private jet that they shouldn't be using they could loan us.

I am sooooooooooo not offended that you don't scrapbook. I actually haven't done any in two years because of the redhead. I haven't even started on his baby book and we won't even discuss the wedding album that needs to be done or the pictures of the two trips to Ireland pre-Mr. Baseball that need homes as well.

Let's just talk about how great I think you are.

You're beautiful
and smart
and doggone it, people like you.

That's why we leave you much comment love.

(and because we want to win great prizes!)
