I have returned!!!!

There are some of you out there that are certain that I have disappeared, no such luck. But I did need to take some time to myself, after two weeks with my family I needed some just me time. Do you ever get to the point that you cannot remember what you did yesterday, last week or for that matter remember if what you did had any significance? That was where I was people, kind of a living, barely functioning blob of a person somewhat resembling the person that I remember. So I needed to go deep, within and find "ME" again. I am not there yet but we are progressing and needless to say that the cop that pulled me over and accused me of speeding really "SHOCKED" me back to me. I am sorry that my kids had to see me arguing with a cop and I am sure that it really made all his compassion for me go out the window, but when I am wrong I will take the ticket and go on with my day, but when I was not even going the speed limit, well you have just opened a can of you-really-do-not-want-to-go-there.

So I got up this morning, cracked open a can of Pepsi, opened up the blinds, turned up the tunes' and finally downloaded the software for my new camera, that I am still trying to get through the "How to operate correctly" book. I keep falling asleep while reading it and I figure that is why they have the delete button anyway..... But I like the black and white option or was this the color option, anyway I had lots of willing models to try things out on.
Since I am so behind the times I will not bore you with all the things that we did involving Christmas, however, I do want to hit upon some highlights that I found rather funny. These are not posed, although I am beginning to think that Drama Queen has no other face then this one for when I pull out the camera, but it is rather amazing to see the eyes rolling back in the head, or bulging again and again and again.

I am glad that I have kids to help me laugh and to remind me that alot of my pictures when I was much younger looked like that too.....

But what would the holidays be without a trip to "Build-a-Bear" to get new members of the family and then to go show them off to G&G. I now have more names of things to remember and I have called Sweet-boy the new bears name too many times for me to not consider getting Ginkoba.

So there you go, we had a great time and now that I have seen the pictures and re-lived those memories I have a smile on my face.

Great Tuesday to everyone!

I'm glad you are back for real this time. I love the pictures of the kids! Did you make the snowman hats? You are so creative! Fun tradition with build a bear, I took my girl once and it was a great experience. Oh by the way, my girl did lose a tooth, that was about 4 or 5 blogs ago. She lost it in November, she has another loose one now. She is growing up too fast - yikes! I can't wait to hear from you!

I hear what you're saying with "me" time. Good luck to all of us gettin' that time to ourselves! You look like you're really enjoying the new camera. (I don't think I've made through my manual yet, either, and my camera is 3-4 years old now! LOL)

We LOVED Build a Bear. My sweet girl has a whole shelf to prove it. That's all she wanted to do on her birthdays for a number of years. It was always fun to go do that with her.

Oh, and thanks for your kind words over on my blog. Always love to see you pop in over there.

Glad you're back!

Your daughter is such a character! I have a couple that are always making the funniest expressions too.

I wonder if my cam does B&W pics? It's a smallish snap and shoot but I haven't even SEEN the book. I just now where the button is to take the pick and how to delete a pic, and then how to download. I. Know. Nothing. Else. lol

YAY! Queenie LIVES!! I LOVE that picture of your kids in the snowman hats. That is going to be a classic for sure. And that poor cop probably had no idea he what he was dealing with. I just had to laugh right our picturing that. (Did you get out of the ticket?) Hope you're back for real this time!

I have spent all evening in my cozy little scrap room with Gabe and Isabel keeping me company.

Wanna guess what I am working on?

Hmmm...

Guess you'll find out next week sometime. Hope you like them.

I've missed you! Glad you are on your way back to being, well, a happier version of you :)

Love the pictures of the kids. Gabe would love those pj's!

The hats my mom made and she is oh so cleaver. They are styrafoam balls in fleece to look like snowmen. I thought that was the funniest gift this year, we always get something fun from Grandma Jean.♥

And to tell you E, I did not get out of the ticket he did reduce the speed but again I was not speeding so I am having to go to court to plead not guilty. So drama in my life ensues.......

I totally understand that feeling. I hope you find your "me" again very soon. It's hard to fill other people's buckets when yours is empty, so go on and get it filled up, girl!

Oh....BUMMER! Good luck getting out of it. I bet you will. Seems like if people take time to contest, they let them off. Keep us posted.

Glad you're back! I was going to say I want to hear more about the police story, but it looks like you may have talked about it a bit in the comments.

So, instead I will say--LOVE your Christmas pictures! Glad you got some much deserved time with family!
