Missing in action

See this person deep in academia, that soon will be me.

Yep! I am taking the plunge yet again.

This time it is an intensive 5 week course, where I will become certified as a Nursing Assistant. This is my short-term and low cost version of nursing school. I figure that when I am done I will either love it and want to finish my degree or hate it and have only wasted 5 weeks and a much lower amount of money, then I will know that another degree is something I need to pursue.

So if I am missing from action here, you will know where I am, deep in study to pass this course.

Wish me luck everyone this old lady is gonna need it!!!

I think this is a smart decision. You will either love it or hate it. There really isn't an in-between in nursing.

I'm lucky; I love it, even after fifteen years.

Best of luck. I'll be sending some prayers your way...

How exciting for you! You'll probaby love it. You just have that "nurse" look about you. :)

I'm actually going to talk to a counselor this week about how many more pre reqs I need before applying to nursing school. I'm scared to death and super excited all at the same time Not sure if I can afford or will be able to manage it but I'm definitely delving into it further to see!

If I remember right you are in Utah, like me. I know you may not want to share but I would love to know where and what you are doing.

I really want to be nurse when I grow up too.

Email me if you want to share and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Thanks trooper thorn - NO I AM NOT ANY SMARTER YET! I am so glad that he pointed that out to me.....

I really start next monday but go to a hairy orientation on Friday to really find out what I am up against. In the end I am sure that I will be no smarter but will know enough to be dangerous.......

Yay for you!! And yay for me too --I'm starting an on-line course today -- I'm excited. It was a V-day present from Mr. H. I'm with you -- it's smart to start small to see if it's what you really what you want to do.

You go, Girl! I'm cheering for ya!
